After getting exhaust work done on my focus I went and looked at some pictures and video of some on youtube that had similar work done and by far I saw that Mike’s service and attention to detail from him and his guys was outstanding.  The work he did was the best I saw or could find.  What I saw was just grab the attention to detail.  Mike and his crew give it the best.

After having my car imitioned at another shop I was informed that I need a catalytic converter. 1600.00+ after calling Mike he was more interested in giving me what I needed and not what would make him more money so to say the least honesty is the word that goes here.

When his team got on my car they felt that I might have been misinformed.  They were right and saved me over $1100 in repairs today.

I have been to Mike Palmer Automotive 3 times, and have received high quality repairs at very reasonable prices.

Before I became acquainted with Mike Palmer Automotive, there was one instance when work was done at the dealer that was not necessary.

Every repair on all three vehicles were done in an outstanding manner and were a fraction of the dealer quoted repair prices.

I firmly believe that Mike Palmer Automotive is the most honest repair shop I have ever used, and I am confident that it will be done right and at a fair price.  I can’t believe it took so long to find them.

I have total confidence that the problem will be properly diagnosed, fairly priced, and completed when promised.  I told Mike about various dealer analysis, and costs.  His diagnoses is spot on and not designed to increase shop revenue repair needs.  I will always use Mike for my repair needs.

Mike and his staff have saved us money on every repair for a lot less than the dealers with inflated costs built in and flaky diagnoses.

The staff is friendly, attentive and though I had a timing belt replaced on my Mazda everything was explained to me and I was very happy with the repair and the price.

How many times have you used us to repair your vehicles?

 About 6 or 7.  Also have all my periodic servicing and oil changes there.


As a retired university professor of consumer protection and an auto mechanic in a former life, I am very aware when a repair shop is not performing a satisfactory job or worse, is attempting to rip off consumers. I have even taught courses for the elderly on how to avoid auto repair scams.

Before  becoming a customer of Mike Palmer, I dealt with several auto repair shops in the valley. A few were incompetent, some were overly expensive, and three or four attempted to “low‐ball”. That is, quoting one price for the repair and later”discovering” all kinds of additional costly “problems that need to be taken care of right away.” A friend recommended Mike and I have been more than satisfied.  He does not perform unnecessary work.  Once I brought a car in to have the front end aligned only to be told by Mike it was just the way this particular car drove with these type of tires.  He said that no work was needed.  My wife took her car there when the check engine light was on.  He quickly diagnosed the problem as a loose gas cap and she went on her way without charge.  Others would have taken advantage and found some problem that “needed to be repaired.”

I patronize Palmer Automotive because its services are reasonably priced and when I take any of my three vehicles in for routine oil changes and servicing, I will not leave paying for unnecessary repairs.  When I have had repairs, such as a recent brake job on my Nissan Xterra, the work was done quickly and competently.  I also appreciated the “Newsletter discount.”  I have recommend Mike Palmer to my friends because I trust him.

I am happy overall with the service to my cars as well as the customer service. The staff at Mike Palmer Automotive seems to go above and beyond where others just do the minimum.

I brought the car in to have the power steering flushed. I also needed an inspection. They took my car to be inspected though it was not a direct service they offer and they offered me a rede and pickup from where I needed to go.

I liked the customer service that makes you feel like your business really matters. I also liked the quality of work and no nonsense diagnosies of car issues.

I have been very impressed and satisfied with Mike Palmers Automotive.  I feel like Mike and his staff has been very honest and straight forward in helping me with the maintenance of my vehicle.

I was given a list of repairs that my car needed by the dealership.  When I brought the car to Mike Palmers I was relieved to finds out that the repairs did not need to be done.  For instance the dealer said I needed a new clutch when I didn’t.

It is peace of mind to know that your repair shop has your best interest in mind.  They go out of their way to try to save us money and we never end up paying more than we are quoted over the phone.

I Love Mike Palmer Automotive! Mike is professional, thorough and friendly. I have a positive feeling when I think of going there, and the pricing for repairs is very reasonable. As a woman, I am skeptical when I have auto repairs done, as I have paid extra for services not needed at other shops. I thought I had a brake problem, but upon inspection, Mike told me my brakes were in good shape! He always gives me suggestions without pressuring me into buying anything, and never tricks to sell you more. Just today I received a $20 discount on my service. I asked why and Jill said, “Just because we love you!” Okay, I will remember that forever! I feel a community connection with this shop because they work hard to succeed by being innovative, friendly and most important-personal. I am moving out of state and told Mike I might just have to move back because I love my “car guys” so much!
